Annual Survey of Parents and Pupils

A small group of students are pictured sitting together on the school grounds, smiling and having a discussion.

Dear Parents/Carers,

We pride ourselves on building strong partnerships with families, working closely together to ensure all students enjoy a fulfilling and rewarding education. We are also committed to self-improvement, always thinking of how we can further improve the education we provide to our students.

We value the feedback of our parents/carers both as an Academy and as a Trust, as this helps us to understand what is working well and where we can make improvements in the future. We launched our first annual survey last year. This was a great success in terms of participation and it gave us insights that helped us deliver a programme of change both at The Halley Academy and across the Leigh Academies Trust.

We would now like to invite you to take part in this year’s parents’ survey which is going out across all 30 of our academies. This will also be complemented by a separate student survey too. Both surveys will be open for a two-week period and close on Friday 10th February at 4.00pm. Students will complete their survey during our Values programme in school.

As in last year’s survey, we are using the sorts of questions that Ofsted poses when it conducts inspections, as well as a few specific questions that help us to understand your wider views about our Academy.

The survey is a Google Form which can be accessed by either clicking the below link or typing it into a browser. You should be able to complete the survey from any computer, tablet or phone. See the link to the survey below:

We really value your feedback and would like to thank you in advance for participating. If you have any problems accessing the survey, please contact us here at the Academy.

Yours sincerely,

Ben Russell
Interim Principal
