Arranging this many visitors on the same day to work with students was not an easy task but the academy was supported in the organisation and on the day by LAT staff, Jas Mato and Louisa Felstead.
The event was also visited by members of the Tallow Chandlers keen to investigate ways they can be involved in future years. The Tallow Chandlers have already supported Careers Education, Information and Guidance at The Halley Academy with professional mentors and mock interviews for our Sixth Form students at their Hall in Dowgate Hill, London.
Ultimately any event that starts the students thinking about their potential careers is a positive step and due to its success it is expected that this new programme within the academy will continue for the coming years.
