Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our commitment to robust health and safety procedures, I want to inform you that we will be practising our emergency lockdown procedures before the end of this module. This will ensure that, in the unlikely event of a real situation, everyone is fully aware of what to do, in the same way as a fire drill practice.
Students will be informed of our procedures during tutor time where they are able to ask questions. The classroom doors will be locked and students will be asked to gather underneath their tables and their teacher will take the register. This will only be for a limited period of time and, once released, doors will immediately be unlocked and students will return to their learning.
