The Halley Academy is delighted to share the fantastic results of its Year 11 cohort. The academy’s rapid improvement journey and recent OFSTED judgement is reinforced through a significant rise in student performance when compared to 2019 results, notably in the core and EBacc subjects.
Such improvements in performance would not be possible without the dedication of the academy’s staff body, who have sought to support and challenge the cohort to ensure they leave the academy with grades that will support their future destinations and careers.
The academy would particularly like to celebrate the following students for their incredible achievements this year:
- George was awarded 2 grade 9s in English and combined science, with a suite of Grades 7 and 8s in all other subjects.
- Amirillokhon was awarded grade 8s in maths and combined science, with grade 7s in all other subjects.
- Maja, Sydney, Aishatou and Fyin all achieved at least a grade 7 in all subjects, with all students achieving a grade 8 in English literature and language.
- Amir was awarded 4 grade 9s in English literature, language, maths and combined science, with all other subjects a grade 8.
