Post-16 Results 2021

Students, families and colleagues were delighted to be able to celebrate the achievements of our Year 13s today.

We are extremely proud to have our first set of IB results, marking a significant milestone since our accreditation as an IB World School in July 2019.  These IB results are very positive and all students should feel immensely proud of themselves and their achievements, particularly in the context of the last two years and the impact felt due to the coronavirus pandemic.  100% of all results were at Grade 4 or above, with three-quarters of all students receiving at least one or more result at Grade 6 or above, and over 40% of all results at Grade 7, equivalent to an A* at A-Level.

We also were delighted to celebrate a 100% pass rate in BTEC vocational qualifications, with our average grade equivalent to a Merit+.

These results have allowed our students to secure places at their first-choice universities in a variety of different subjects, including:

Poppy achieved a 7 in English Language and Literature, a 6 in Geography and a Grade B in the Reflective Project, BTEC Business at Distinction. Poppy will be studying French and Geography at the University of Lancaster.

Leo obtained a Distinction in BTEC Business, Distinction Merit in BTEC Engineering and a grade B in A-level Art.  Leo has successfully gained his first choice to study Fashion Design at Ravensbourne University London.

Kevin will attend Middlesex University to study Neuroscience in September, having achieved the necessary entry requirements for his course.

We also have a number of students who have secured Higher Level Apprenticeship places, notably in engineering, nursing and business management.
