When you join the Sixth Form at The Halley Academy you become part of a successful learning community where we aim to develop the whole student

Academic achievement is very important to us and we have an impressive track record, both in the courses we offer and the progression routes our students take, be it to take up places at Oxbridge and Russell Group universities, specialist colleges and universities, apprenticeships and training.

However, we also recognise that success in life comes from having a variety of skills and personal attributes, and our wide ranging tutorial programme is something we are immensely proud of. We aim to give all students the opportunity to develop their strengths and interests through, for example, the work of the student union and access to specialist speakers and university and college taster days. We have close links with The Ideas Foundation, the University of Sussex, the Institute of Education, the Growing Doctors Programme and the John Innes Centre; we are also unique in having an academy farm and an elite football academy.

We look forward to welcoming you into our community.
