Dear Parents/Carers,
Following our correspondence at the start of this module, we are delighted to invite families and students to our Year 9 Options Evening on Thursday 13th May 2021, 15.30-18.00.
Every student and family will be invited to an individual consultation meeting with a member of the Academy Leadership Team or Small School Team. This will provide you with advice and support to help finalise your child’s option subject requests, and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the options process. We would encourage students to attend this event with their parent/carer to make the meeting as meaningful as possible.
During this meeting, you will be able to confirm your child’s option subject requests. Alternatively, you can complete the Options Form that will be sent to you electronically after your consultation meeting. The deadline for the submission of this form is Monday 17th May.
As the current lockdown conditions do not allow us to gather on-site, this event will be virtual, using the School Cloud platform. This is the same platform that you have used to book appointments for our Year 9 Parents’ Evening on Thursday 6th May. This system will allow you to choose the time of your appointment. You will then receive an email confirming your virtual appointment. The same login is used to make bookings and attend the appointments.
