Safeguarding Update

Two students collaborate with one another while using Chromebook laptops.

Dear Parents/Carers,

The Academy website is constantly under review and being updated. In order to ensure that you and your children have easy access to safeguarding information, a separate safeguarding section has been added. You can find this section under the drop down menu of the Academy website or access it here.

This section of the website includes a reminder of the safeguarding team, some of the key aspects of safeguarding at The Halley Academy, important information about specific safeguarding issues and a wealth of information with links to safeguarding websites. This section also includes The Halley Academy Child Protection Policy, as well as a Student Child Protection Information Sheet, which outlines how concerns can be raised and the sort of help that students may receive. The students have looked at the Student Information Sheet in tutor time.

If you have any safeguarding questions, concerns or issues, then please do not hesitate to contact a member of our safeguarding team.
