Instrumental Lessons

Two male students are pictured playing musical instruments alongside each other. One is playing guitar and the other is seen playing the drums.

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are pleased to inform you that we are now able to commence further extra instrumental lessons during the school day. Lessons will now also be available for both trumpet and trombone, as well as the vocal lessons and piano lessons that we are currently offering.

These lessons will take place every week for 25 minutes and will be on rotation so that the same lessons will not be missed by the student. Once the day and time slots have been allocated, your child will receive an Instrument Report Card which will provide you with an update on their progress.

We have limited availability and pupils will be allocated lessons on a first come first served basis. If there are currently no slots your child will be put on a waiting list and informed when a slot becomes available. Likewise, failure to attend lessons without validity may result in the lessons being cancelled.

The cost of the lessons will be £110 per module which can be paid through ParentPay.

If you do want your child to have instrumental tuition, please complete the Music Lessons Permission Form giving your child permission to have lessons and be out of lesson time for twenty-five minutes once a week. Once your interest is registered, we will send you details of the payment system and will then confirm your child’s lesson. Please note that if your child already receives instrumental lessons, you do not need to re-register your child.
