Dear Parent/Carer

Year 11 Holiday Homework

As we approach the upcoming break, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the hard work and efforts of our Year 11 students and the investment they have made towards their academic studies in the last couple of modules.

The break is undoubtedly a well-deserved time for rest and rejuvenation, however, it is also important to recognise that this period must also be utilised to stay on track with academic responsibilities and to maintain the continuity of learning.  As a result, all students have been set homework tasks to complete in each subject over the Christmas break.  These tasks have been posted onto their Google Classrooms and are also outlined below.  We kindly request your support in reinforcing the significance of completing the assigned homework tasks.

English Seneca Revision and Pre-Reading of Poems
Maths Exam Questions Booklet and SPARX
Triple Science Exam Questions and Seneca
Combined Science Exam Questions and Seneca
History Seneca Learning
Geography 12 Days of Geogmas

We appreciate your ongoing support and collaboration in fostering a positive and effective learning environment for your child.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at eleanor.parsons@thehalleyacademy.org.uk.

Yours faithfully
