Year 7 Parents’ Evening
I am pleased to invite you to our forthcoming Year 7 Parents’ Evening on Thursday 7th March, from 4:00pm to 6:15pm. This is an in-person event where you will have face-to-face appointments with your child’s teachers.
Parents’ Evening is an excellent opportunity for you to discuss your child’s learning with their subject teachers and find further ways to support your child’s progress in their first year of secondary education.
All appointments will be 5 minutes long. If you wish to have a longer meeting with any staff member, please contact them via your child’s small school to arrange an alternative time.
Appointment slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, as teachers have a limited number of available slots. Early booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment. We ask that you respect the appointment times, as your child’s teacher may have a hectic schedule with parents to see.
We will continue to use the highly successful School Cloud Platform which allows you to choose the times of your appointment times with teachers. If you have problems accessing this platform, please contact your child’s small school, who will happily add appointments on your behalf.
The Academy’s doors will open to families briefly before 4:00pm for this event. Any student who needs to stay in the Academy until the event starts will be supervised in the Library.
