End of Term Arrangements
Friday 15th December 2023

As we reach the end of a very successful Module 2, I am writing to inform you of the arrangements planned for the coming weeks.

On Thursday 14th December, we will be holding our annual Christmas Jumper day in order to raise money for Save the Children UK. Students are invited to wear a festive-themed jumper over their usual Academy uniform and should contribute £1 to do so. Participation is not compulsory. Also on this day, our catering partner Cucina will be providing the Academy Christmas Dinner. Prices do not vary from a standard main meal at lunchtime and both vegetarian and halal options will be available as always.

On Friday 15th December 2023 students must attend in full academy uniform and will follow their normal timetable until 12.15pm, when they will be dismissed by the Leadership Team. Students who are entitled to a free school meal will be able to purchase food at break time.

On behalf of all the staff at The Halley Academy, I would like to thank you for your continued support over the past two modules and wish you and your families a very restful Winter break, and a celebratory New Year.

Please note that the Academy re-opens for students on Tuesday 2nd January 2024 at the normal time.
