Dear Parents/Carers,
We have received notification from the Royal Borough of Greenwich that resurfacing roadworks will be carried out between the 6th to 8th of March 2024 in Broad Walk from house number 119 to the first junction with Mayday Gardens.
The resurfacing works will be carried out between the hours of 9am and 5pm under a full road closure. These works are due to last three days but can be subject to delays caused by adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. The local council has informed us that outside of working hours the road will be open as normal.
These works will lead to significant disruption to local traffic circulation in the area of the Academy, and will impact the drop-off and collection routines of families who use cars. Please be mindful of this when planning your route and timings to and from the Academy next week, so that our usual high standards for attendance and punctuality can be maintained.
The Royal Borough of Greenwich apologise in advance for any inconvenience and assure you that every effort will be made to keep any disturbance to a minimum.
