Dear Parents/Carers,
The Halley Academy is pleased to confirm that our Sports Day is taking place on Friday 14th July. Students participating in any event need to arrive at the Academy in their full Halley Academy PE Kit: black shorts and The Halley Academy polo shirt, ready to participate in events. Students not competing in Sports Day must wear their full Academy uniform. Students are to report to their tutor rooms at 8:30am, unless your child is in Year 7 or 8 and is competing in a field event (jumping or throwing events), in which case they will need to go directly to the Sports Hall to be registered.
We anticipate good weather for the event and therefore all students must bring sun protection and enough water with them to last throughout the day. We are very much looking forward to this event which is eagerly anticipated by the whole Academy community.
Sports Day will finish between 2.30pm-2.45pm when students will be dismissed from the Academy field.
