Dear Parent/Carer,
Year 11 Parents’ Evening – Wednesday 24th April
I am pleased to invite you to our forthcoming Year 11 Parents’ Evening on Wednesday 24th April from 2:45pm – 4:45pm. This is an in-person event where you will have face-to-face appointments with your child’s teachers.
Parents’ Evening is a great opportunity for you to discuss your child’s learning with their subject teachers and find further ways to support your child’s important preparations for the upcoming GCSE examinations. We would strongly recommend that you and your child attend to discuss their latest mock examination results and receive specific advice on how to improve and succeed in each subject area.
All appointments will be 5 minutes long. If you wish to have a longer meeting with any member of staff, please contact them via the respective small school emails at the end of this letter to arrange an alternative time.
We will continue to use the highly successful School Cloud Platform which allows you to choose the times of your face-to-face appointment times with teachers.

The Academy’s doors will open to families briefly before 2:35pm for this event. Any student who needs to stay in the Academy until the event starts will be supervised in the Library.
