Dear Parents/Carers,
We are pleased to invite you to our forthcoming Year 7 Information Event on Thursday 21st September 2023. This will be an opportunity for you to meet your child’s small school team, as well as their tutor to discuss how well your child has settled into Year 7 at The Halley Academy. Tutor meetings will be available from 4.00pm until 4.30pm and 4.45pm until 5.25pm and these will be five minutes in length.
At 4.30pm, Mr Russell will give an address followed by an Introduction to the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme. Further information on our offer here at The Halley Academy will also be available, including our small school system and our extra-curricular provision. Refreshments will be provided throughout the course of the afternoon.
This event is in addition to our parents’ evening which will be held later on in the academic year, where you will have the opportunity to discuss progress in all subjects with your child’s teachers.
